What is a Snow Guard?

A snow guard is a rooftop device that allows snow and ice to drop off in small amounts or melt completely before falling to the ground.

Where should they be placed on the roof?

Installation should be done but not limited to important areas such as entryways, walkways, parking lots, drive-through areas and any spot where people may gather.

What type of roof do you have to have to use these snow guards?

Our snow guards are designed to be used on any type of roof whether it is shingles, slate, or metal.

When considering snow guards for your roof,
here are a few things to remember:
  • No snow guard can keep 100% of snow and ice on the roof.

  • Our snow guards are uniquely designed to catch falling snow and ice, hold it and allow it to melt while still on the roof through the bottom of the snow guard.

  • This uniquely designed snow guard has been tested next to traditional pipe and bracket Snow guards and while the pipe and bracket guards came apart under the weight of the snow and ice, ours did not.

How do the snow guards look once they are on? .

Our snow guards are designed not only to hold up better than traditional pipe and bracket guards but to be aesthetically pleasing as well. The pictures above speak for themselves
